Isaac got his first professional haircut at Dollar Cuts about two weeks ago. With Jared's busy schedule and Isaac's long flowing hair, I decided it was time to get some serious help. I even took the camera with us....only to have the battery dead. He did a great job holding still. I think we really benefited from some stranger anxiety. He was much better than if Jared would have done it. She had his whole head buzzed in less than 10 minutes.
Here is Isaac and Me....without glasses! Yeah! My eyes were really red for along time, but are finally getting better.
Boys like the Mud! Why?
On a walk back home from the next door neighbors Isaac decided to take a run through the mud (much to my chagrin)!! I tried to stop him but he was too quick. Here he is the in middle of the mud patch on the side of our house!
I tried and tried to coax him back out, so I wouldn't have to get in the mud! But the mud got so thick on the bottom of his shoes he kept falling down when he tried to walk. So if you can't get out of the mud................you sit down and start eating it!!!
And, yes I did have to go in and get him!! Isaac got to have a bath at 4pm and then watch me out the back door as I tried to de-mud our shoes!!
Boys are Bruises!
While running around the house Isaac tripped and hit the very top of his head on the edge of the door. He immediately got a huge goose egg on his head which then turned into a nice red mark and bruise. If he was only another couple of inches taller he would have cleared it! Maybe in a couple more months.
But do Boys like Purses?
Or does it just go well with the shoes. I think I prefer this to the mud.......................................

Oh Isaac, you are so funny and inquisitive!!! We added yet another bruise yesterday at my house--that darn little step into the family room gets him every time (even though he tried really hard and even grabbed the wood railing--but that step!!!) Cute post
Isaac makes me laugh so hard! Those pictures are the cutest and it always amazes me how kids love to eat the nastiest things.
Yeah! I'm so glad you posted again. These pictures are great! Isaac is definitely all boy. It's so funny that he is always trying to eat sand and dirt. I'm glad to see that my boys aren't the only ones who always have big goose eggs!
Carolee, finally!! i'm so excited to see new pictures. Isaac is so dang cute, that first picture of him is to-die-for, his little buzz head is just so adorable. I think 'goose eggs' and 'little kids' are pretty my synonymous. It was great to see you guys on saturday, I'm still laughing about the lemon incident.
Isaac looks super cute with the his hair cut. I also laughed my head off to see him eating the mud, and the bruises. How do kids live past their first couple years?
I don't care what Jared thinks, once every couple months is not frequent enough for blog posts. C'mon you guys, I know you have lots of things going on in your lives that you could update us about.
I agree with Crystal. Now that tax season is over we expect weekly updates.
