Oh, What do you do...

Oh, What Do You Do in the Summertime, when all the world is RED HOT?

Do you scatter 600 puff balls all over the house, (thanks Aunt Kim for those puff balls)

OR put your bored 5 year old to work,

OR run around in your jacket, socks and underwear

'cause you've been coped up too long?
Is that what you do? So do I!

Oh, What Do You Do in the Summertime, when all the world is RED HOT?

Do you let your kids hang out in a casino...

both morning and night

OR, pay $15.00 to ride the same car over and over again

just to get out of the house!!
Is that what you do? Maybe us, too?!?

Oh, What Do You Do in the Summertime, when all the world is RED HOT?

Do you give your 5 year old a mohawk (nice try Dad)

OR play in the backyard all evening in your underwear?

Is that what you do? So do I!

Oh, What Do You Do in the Summertime, when all the world is RED HOT?

Do you, agree to go camping with the boys even though you DON'T CAMP

'cause the temp goes from this....

to this.....

in less than an hours drive!!
I bet that is what you would do, too?!?

Oh, What Do You Do in the Summertime, when all the world is RED HOT?

Oh, AND Do you swim in a pool, to keep yourself cool,

And nap where/whenever you like

Is that what you do? So do these two!!

What a fun July! Wish we could arrange a get together with you guys sometime soon. What is it with men giving their boys mohawks? Is it still not a white trash hairdo? I must be out of it fashion-wise. Jer and Mason loving doing that too- for the day I allow it

It looks like you guys have been keeping busy. I love the mohawk and had to laugh at the puff balls and playing in the backyard in their underwear- aren't boys a riot?? Way to go on getting Isaac to vacume!

Carolee, you don't post very often, but when you do it's pure genius! Also, your new blog name is very clever. I might just have to call you whenever I'm having a brain block.

I love this post! What a creative way to use up all of your pictures.

Things I enjoyed:

300 million puff balls everywhere. Sometimes you just realize that life is messy when you have kids.

kids doing housework. I can't wait until Hazel is old enough

Drewby's pants-less pictures. Check out those legs! Woo-woo

Isaac's mini-jared hawk. That is so WT that I love it!

All the camping pictures. A fire in LV?? I guess 75 degrees probably feels chilly compared to 109.

So, it looks like it's pretty sweltering there. Unfortunately I won't be experiencing it myself. I'm going to San Fran with Taylor instead of Lake Mead. I'm pretty bugged that out of all the weeks in the year, these two things fell on EXACTLY the same days. I feel bad I'm going to miss seeing you guys. Give those cute boys a kiss for me.

My family lives in Henderson and they just stay in their house!

I can't believe how hot it gets there!

Wow, Carolee, you do more than us with the Red Hot heat. We just time ourselves on how fast we can run from one air conditioned place to the next.

Every time we go outside Megan say's, "It's boiling out here, lets get inside."

I don't know how I missed all of these posts, but nice work. I'd say that if I could go from 109 to 75 degrees within an hour's drive, I'd go camping every weekend.

As I recall the puff balls ideas was yours! I just added to the total number because I know that Isaac doesn't exactly like to share. It must be a oldest child thing!!!

You really should have your own newspaper column or something. You are hilarious Carolee!
